  • Note that you must have your iPhone with you in the car for the Maps app to work and not using it for other tasks such as internet browsing or phone call.

There are several Siri commands you can use while driving with Apple Maps in your car. Here are a few examples:

  • "Navigate to [destination]." This will open the Maps app and provide turn-by-turn directions to your desired destination.
  • "Take me to the nearest [type of location]." This will find the nearest location of the type you specify (e.g. "gas station," "coffee shop," "pharmacy") and provide directions to get there.

There are several Apple devices and applications that you can use in your car to enhance your driving experience.

  • iPhone with Apple Maps: You can use your iPhone to navigate and get turn-by-turn directions with Apple Maps, and use Siri commands to search for locations or navigate to a specific destination.
  • Apple CarPlay: This is a feature that allows you to use your iPhone's features, such as Apple Maps and music, on your car's infotainment system. This way you can use the bigger screen and better speakers of your car to enhance the experience.
  • Apple Music: You can stream music, audiobooks, and podcasts through your car's speakers, via your iPhone or via CarPlay compatibility.

While Apple Maps is the default navigation app on iPhone, you can also use Google Maps in your car. To do so, you will need to have the Google Maps app installed on your iPhone and a car that is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your car using a USB cable or Bluetooth connection.
  2. On your car's display screen, you should see the option to "Use Apple CarPlay." Select that option to activate CarPlay.
  3. Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone.
  4. The Google Maps app should appear on your car's display screen. You can use the app to search for directions and navigate to your desired destination.

Note that while you can use Google Maps on the display screen of your Car, the voice commands will still use the default maps, which is Apple maps. Additionally, to get the best experience when using Google Maps in your car, it is recommended to use the latest version of the app and the latest version of iOS on your iPhone.

Google Assistant is not natively integrated into Apple's iOS operating system, but you can still use Google Assistant on an iPhone in your car, although the setup and usage will be different than on an Android device.

  • Make sure you have the Google Assistant app installed on your iPhone.
  • Connect your iPhone to your car using a USB cable or Bluetooth connection.
  • On your car's display screen, you should see the option to "Use Apple CarPlay." Select that option to activate CarPlay.
  • Open the Google Assistant app on your iPhone
  • You can interact with the Assistant through voice commands by saying "Hey Google" and then asking your question or giving a command.
  • You can also interact with the Assistant using the touch screen on your car's display or on your phone.
  • However, similar to using Google Maps on Apple CarPlay, it is not possible to use Siri to initiate Google Assistant commands, you will need to use the Google Assistant app directly. And keep in mind that the Google Assistant app may not be fully integrated with the Apple CarPlay, so the experience may be limited.

Steps to fix scratches on your car by yours self

There are a few steps you can take to try to fix scratches on your car:

  • Clean the area around the scratch with a mild soap and water to remove any dirt or debris.
  • If the scratch is shallow, you may be able to buff it out with a polishing compound. Apply the compound to a soft cloth and rub it into the scratch in a circular motion.
  • If the scratch is deeper, you may need to use a touch-up paint to fill in the scratch. First, clean the area around the scratch with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils that may prevent the paint from adhering. Then, apply a small amount of touch-up paint to the scratch using a toothpick or a small paintbrush. Be sure to apply the paint in thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next.
  • Once you have applied enough paint to fill in the scratch, use a clear coat to seal and protect the paint. Apply the clear coat in the same manner as the paint, using thin layers and allowing each layer to dry before applying the next.
  • If the scratch is still noticeable after you have followed these steps, you may need to have the car professionally repainted.

How to check oil in a Car ?

To check the oil level in your car, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the car is on level ground and has had a chance to cool down. If the engine is hot, the oil level may appear artificially high.
  2. Locate the oil dipstick. This is usually a long, thin rod with a handle that is located near the front of the engine.
  3. Remove the dipstick from its tube and wipe it clean with a rag or paper towel.
  4. Reinsert the dipstick fully into its tube.
  5. Remove the dipstick again and hold it horizontally. Look for the oil level on the dipstick. There are usually markings on the dipstick indicating the minimum and maximum acceptable oil levels.
  6. If the oil level is below the minimum mark, add oil until it reaches the full mark. Be sure to use the correct type of oil for your car, as specified in the owner's manual.
  7. If the oil level is above the maximum mark, you will need to remove some oil until it is at the correct level.

It is important to regularly check the oil level in your car to ensure that the engine is adequately lubricated and to prevent damage. Most car manufacturers recommend checking the oil level at least once a month.

When checking the oil level in a car, it is important to use the correct measurement units. Oil is typically measured in quarts or liters, depending on the country and the specific make and model of the car.

To check the oil level, you will need to use the dipstick that is located in the engine. The dipstick will have markings indicating the minimum and maximum acceptable oil levels. It is important to make sure that the oil level is within these limits to ensure that the engine is properly lubricated.

If the oil level is too low, you will need to add oil to bring it up to the correct level. It is important to use the correct type of oil for your car, as specified in the owner's manual.

If the oil level is too high, you will need to remove some oil until it is at the correct level. This can be done using a siphon or by draining the oil from the engine through the oil drain plug.

Overall, it is important to regularly check the oil level in your car and to make sure that it is at the correct level. This will help to ensure that the engine is properly lubricated and running smoothly.

The type of oil that is recommended for a car will depend on the specific make and model of the car, as well as the operating conditions and the manufacturer's recommendations.

Most modern cars require engine oil that meets certain performance standards, such as the American Petroleum Institute (API) service categories or the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) standards. These standards specify the minimum performance requirements for the oil, including its viscosity, detergent and dispersant properties, and ability to protect against wear and corrosion.

In general, there are two main types of engine oil: conventional oil and synthetic oil. Conventional oil is made from crude oil and is the most common type of oil used in cars. Synthetic oil is made from chemically modified base oils and is typically more expensive than conventional oil. Synthetic oil may offer some advantages over conventional oil, such as better performance at high temperatures and longer service intervals, but it may not be suitable for all vehicles.

It is important to use the correct type of oil for your car, as specified in the owner's manual. Using the wrong type of oil can cause damage to the engine and reduce its performance and lifespan. It is also important to follow the recommended service intervals for oil changes, as specified by the manufacturer. This will help to ensure that the engine is properly lubricated and running smoothly.
